Researchers from the Ecology Department at the University of Zaragoza, Jaume Tormo and José Manuel Nicolau, are collaborating with GALP on a project to study the impacts of photovoltaic parks on ecosystems and their mitigation.

During the project, we will conduct studies on flora, fauna, and soil, as well as design and implement a renaturalization project for the affected areas.

We are looking for an independent and proactive person who enjoys fieldwork, has a curiosity for nature, and is eager to live at the gateway to the Pyrenees. The candidate should have completed a master's degree related to Ecosystem Restoration or a related field.

The selected person will coordinate different teams and carry out some of the office and fieldwork tasks, including drafting and executing restoration projects. The work will begin this spring.

We offer a 12-month contract, which could be extended for at least two more years, as we expect to renew our agreement with GALP soon and are applying for new projects. If the selected person is interested a PhD can be done in the subject.
