At the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (IPE-CSIC, Spain), we are looking for candidates interested in applying for a PREDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (FPI) associated with the project GYPSME: EVALUATING SULFUR METABOLISM IN PLANTS FROM GYPSUM SOILS (Ref. PID2024-159400NB-I00).<br>

The main goal of the project is to advance our understanding of SULFUR METABOLISM IN WILD PLANTS showing different affinities to gypsum soils. We aim to generate new knowledge that will help elucidate both SULFUR ACCUMULATION IN PLANTS and the EVOLUTIONARY
PROCESSES that have enabled plant life in these extreme environments.<br>
