Rhuaidi Burke</a>, topólogo computacional de la universidad de Oxford especializado en 4-variedades. Su charla tendrá lugar a las 17:00, pero aún no tiene abstract. El programa completo puede encontrarse aquí:</p>

<p style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">I would like to let you know about three upcoming events in the next weeks.</p>
<p style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">(1) On Wednesday, October 21, Isacco and I are organizing a one-day workshop on Geometric Topology:</p>

<p style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">This workshop is deliberately aimed at a broader audience. In particular, advanced bachelor's students, master's students, and PhD students are very welcome. Below is an advertisement.</p>

<p style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">The next talk will take place on Thursday, October 15: Daniel Kasprowski —<span class="gmail-Apple-converted-space"> </span><em>Stably exotic fillings of 3-manifolds</em></p>
<p style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">In december there is a very exciting talk about the recent solution of the Boureau representation.</p>
<p style="color:rgb(0,0,0)">We will always watch the talks together. We will meet beforehand in my office for some tea and discussion and then watch the talk together. The talks are primarily intended for researchers in low-dimensional topology, but everyone
 who is interested is very welcome to join. We can try to answer questions and explain the necessary background, and, if people are interested, I am also happy to stay afterwards and try to explain the main ideas of the talk and what it was about.</p>
